Radar Run held in Ottertail Jan. 16
The Ottertail Business Association, in conjunction with Otter Trail Riders, will host their annual Snowmobile Radar Run on Saturday, Jan. 16.
Over 50 classifications will be featured at the run on Otter Tail Lake. A 660 foot run is planned, conditions permitting. The alternate location for the run is the Smokin' Iron track located behind the old Village Inn (now Hoot and Hollers) in Ottertail city. Signs will be posted.
Event registration will be held from 9 a.m. until noon. Runs start at 10 a.m., with three runs for $10. Additional runs are $1 each. ID's are required and participants under age 17 need a parent's signature.
At 3 p.m. sharp the Radar Run will shut down, with all ties run at 3 p.m. Trophies will be presented at the Otter Supper Club at 4:30 p.m. Participants must be present to receive their trophies.
Concessions are planned on the lake during the event. The location is at the Riviera Access on Otter Tail Lake, just off of County Road 1. The site is 2 1/2 miles west of the Highway 78 and County Road 1 intersection.
