The radiothon will begin at noon on Dec. 4 and continue through noon on Dec. 5.
Five counties in central Minnesota have joined forces with the radio stations to raise money to help end child abuse. Cass, Hubbard, Otter Tail, Todd and Wadena counties, along with Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota, will answer pledge lines during the event.
People will have the opportunity to call in and make donations and place bids on auction items. Charter Communications is providing the auction and pledge lines for this event.

The Wadena County Sheriff's Department will be on hand again this year taking children's DNA samples from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at MSCTC; Mike Heikes will be fitting youngsters with free bike helmets. Musical entertainment will also be provided.
The stations will be airing messages from child abuse experts on ways to prevent and recognize child abuse and where abusers can find help.
