Raffle raises $46K for Boys and Girls

The Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes and Perham concluded an RV raffle on Aug. 4 during WE Fest. Winners Mark and Heather Dose of Thief River Falls were presented with the keys to their new 2012 21-foot Gulf Stream AmeriLite camper. The Doses also won two VIP box seats and camping and electricity in the VIP campground for Livin' the Dream 2013. The raffle was held as a fundraiser for the local Boys and Girls Club. More than 50 volunteers helped sell raffle tickets at WE Fest over five days, selling more than 2,300 tickets and raising more than $46,000 to support after school and summer programming for youth in Otter Tail and Becker counties.
