Rally Day and Kick-Off Karnival, at Saint Peter's Church in NY Mills, September 12
Sunday school students at Saint Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New York Mills are up for some excitement this Sunday, September 12.
Invited to attend are all children from preschool to 7th grade. The day will begin with a Rally Day Church service, followed by a tour of classrooms and the opportunity to meet teachers.
A special treat will be awaiting children in their classrooms - free tickets to the Kick-Off Karnival. The tickets can be used to participate in a variety of games and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
More tickets will be available along side such treats as hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones and pickles-on-a-stick.
The church extends a special invitation to all third graders and their parents to be present during worship as Saint Peter's will assist those parents in achieving one of their baptismal promises by giving special SPARK Bibles to the parents, who will in turn present them to their children. Beginner's Bibles will be distributed to kindergarteners.
Orders will be taken on Rally Day for St. Peter's Youth (SPY) t-shirts for youths and adults. Ordering information will be available at a table during the Karnival.
