Ronald Lee Brown was born to Augustus Jeremiah and Mabel Flora (Leaf) Brown on Dec. 15, 1941 at the White Earth Hospital. He came from a large family with a Christian legacy spanning four generations. Ron was raised with his family in the White Earth area and attended school near there. As a young man, he moved to Minneapolis and began working various jobs. He spent many years in the painting profession in the Minneapolis area.

While living in Minnesota, Ron was an avid boxer and remained undefeated in his boxing career. Ron also lived for a short time in El Paso, Texas, before returning to Minnesota. In the mid-1980s, he moved back to White Earth to be near his family. Most recently, due to failing health, Ron moved to Bagley, where he made his home in the Cornerstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Ron accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior two and half years ago. His brother, Pastor Tim Brown, had the wonderful opportunity to lead him in the sinner's prayer.

Ron was a strong willed and determined individual, who always had the best interest of his family in mind. He always showed care and compassion for the happiness of his family and loved ones. One of his greatest joys was cooking for people, especially his family. He was a talented crafter and often made dream catchers to share.
