Sandbag volunteers asked to call hotline

FARGO – The Volunteer Hotline will begin answering calls and scheduling sandbag volunteers at 8 a.m. on Monday.

All interested volunteers are asked to call the hotline at (701) 476-4000 to schedule a volunteer time in advance. Volunteers will be needed most between 3 and 7 p.m.


One million sandbags are needed this year to help protect the residents of Fargo and Cass County. The bags will be divided evenly, with 500,000 going to the city and 500,000 to Cass County.
