Sarah Palin has right credentials
I am writing in response to a letter in last week's P.E.B. sent in by a gentleman named Howard Seiple.
Sir, I respectfully differ with you regarding Sarah Palin's credentials: Her resume is stronger than Obama's. She was a real mayor, he was not. She was a real governor, he was not. She was in charge of the Alaska National Guard, he was not. She was a whistle blower who turned in the chairman of her own party and got him fined $12,000. She took on a former governor of her own party and beat him. She beat a former Democratic governor in the general election. Can anyone come up with one thing that Senator Obama has done except talk and write? Palin has a stronger resume than Obama does, and she is running for Vice President, not the President of the United States of America.
Senator Biden, in a recent interview, stated that this county needed leaders that were experienced and knew what they were talking about in this time of crisis. He likened this time in history to when President Roosevelt went on TV and talked directly to the American people when the stock market crashed in 1929. Excuse me, Senator, but Hoover was president at that time, and there was no TV. By his own criteria, he disqualified himself.
As for your despicable remarks about John McCain, I will just say that he spent 22 years of his life, 5 of them as a P.O.W., being tortured, so that you would have the 1st Amendment right to say these things.
A vote for the Obama/Biden team is a vote for unchecked government. Are we ready to head down the road of socialism where we look to government for all the answers? So we want to be another France? I think not.
