School bus sideswipes car near Perham
The driver of a school bus has been cited for failure to yield after a minor accident near Perham last week.
According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of the bus, 58-year old Larry Grieger of New York Mills, sideswiped a car at the junction of Highways 10 and 78. Gerald Wiese, a 61-year-old from Battle Lake, was turning onto the Highway 10 ramp off of Highway 78 when the right rear end of his 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was struck by the bus.
No injuries resulted from the accident, according to the state patrol. Damage to Wiese's car was reported.
The accident occurred Oct. 10 at about 7 a.m. The Perham Police Department assisted at the scene.
