After a great showing at the regional competition, Perham’s Science Research Team recently traveled to Bloomington, Minn. to compete at the State Science and Engineering Fair. There, four students won awards for their research and hard work.

The team members said they wouldn’t have done as well without the time and effort their advisor, science teacher Shawn Stafki, dedicated to the team.

“He’s a really good mentor,” said senior Maria Lorenson.
