Scouts hold informational meeting in Perham Sept. 15
Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. These are words to live by; words that describe the leaders of tomorrow; words that describe Scouts.
The Perham area Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are recruiting for new members.
It's easy to join Cub Scouting.
On September 15, there will be an informational meeting at the Heart of the Lakes Elementary School gym from 6-7 p.m.
If you are unable to attend this meeting, boys and their families will be able to sign-up for cubscouting at our first pack meeting of the year on September 22 from 6-7 p.m. at boyscout park (just off Hwy 8 about 3 miles north of Perham).
Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades. The program combines camping and outdoor activities, sports, academics and more in a fun and exciting program that helps families teach ideals such as honesty, good citizenship, and respect.
More than 40 youth participate in Scouting programs across the Perham area.
