Senior citizen safety, legal seminar hosted at Perham church Aug. 27
United Community Bank - Perham and Pemberton, Sorlie, Rufer, Kershner Law Office in Fergus Falls, in cooperation with Otter Tail County Triad is sponsoring a free lunch and seminar on senior citizen safety issues.
Seniors and their adult children are invited to attend this free lunch at 11:15 a.m. followed by the presentation at noon on Aug. 27, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 619 3rd Ave. SW, Perham. Nicholas J. Heydt, Attorney with Pemberton, Sorlie, Rufer & Kershner Law Office in Fergus Falls, will discuss the importance of wills, trusts, payable/transferrable on death as it affects probate and estate taxes and procedures. Another presenter will be Sandra Waldon, United Community Bank.
Law enforcement will be present to answer any questions you may have on safety concerns. Otter Tail County Triad is a partnership of law enforcement, senior citizens and community groups dedicated to promote senior safety and to reduce the fear of crime that seniors often experience.
