Shotgun used in Bertha shooting; woman suffered 'serious' injuries
Eric Steven Grewe, 39, used a shotgun to injure his significant other, 31-year-old Angela Rose Templin, in Bertha Friday, shortly before killing himself with the weapon, said Peter Mikkelson, Todd County sheriff.
Templin was transported by Bertha Ambulance to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena and later airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, according to a report from the Sheriff's Office. She suffered serious injuries, said Christine Hill, media relations specialist for Hennepin County Medical Center.
Eagle Bend Police Department assisted in the incident, which is currently under investigation by the Todd County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
