Six injured in two-vehicle crash in Otter Tail County
Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday at the intersection of Highway 78 and Highway 210 in Otter Tail County, the Minnesota State Patrol reports.
About 7:19 p.m., a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix traveling westbound on Highway 210 broadsided a 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan traveling southbound on Highway 78, the report said.
One person was trapped in the crash and had to be extricated, the report says.
No information has been released on which of the victims was in which vehicle.
No names or descriptions of injuries will be available until later tonight, the Patrol reports, though the report notes that serious injury was involved in the crash.
All of the victims were transported by ambulance to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minn., the report says.
They were transported by Ringdahl Ambulance with assistance from Battle Lake Fire and Rescue, the report says.
Other agencies assisting were the Battle Lake Police Department and the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, the report says.
