Slick roadways cause of minor accidents
Snowfall on Valentine's Day resulted in slick roadways throughout the area once again, resulting in many minor traffic accidents that day and the next.
While most of the mishaps reported involved vehicles in ditches or other minor fender benders, the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department said three more serious crashes took place along Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls on Feb. 14.
One of those crashes involved a utility trailer carrying a 4-wheeler that flipped in the median. Another involved a rollover in the median, with two occupants. The third involved a travel trailer that flipped over, blocking one lane of traffic along the interstate.
No major injuries were reported.
