State Baseball: Fossand fans 12, hands Eagles first defeat

CHASKA, Minn. -- Jack Fossand struck out 12 batters and was aided by the only run of the game scored on a controversial balk call as the St. Agnes Aggies handed New York Mills its first defeat of the season in the state quarterfinals late Thursday evening.


With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Eagles starter Adam Snelgrove struck out Joe McDonald.
