State Baseball: St. Agnes Class A Champions

MINNEAPOLIS -- The only team to blemish the New York Mills Eagles record this season, the St. Agnes Aggies (23-6), went on to win the Class A Baseball Championship with their third shutout in as many games at the tournament.

The Aggies, behind ace Jack Fossand, defeated the Lac Qui Parle Valley Eagles 6-0 Monday at Target Field.

Lac qui Parle Valley ended their season with a record of 18-10. The Eagles reached the title game in their first trip to the state tournament.
