Stolen items recovered from one Erhard burglary, another reported
Items previously stolen from Marilyn's Tanning in Erhard, Minn. have been recovered, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department.
Various items, which had been missing since August, were recovered at a residence near Erhard. They include lotions, other tanning products and some furniture items.
In custody in Moorhead, Minn., related to other charges in Clay County in addition to the theft in Erhard, is Nicole Mattfeld, 35, of rural Battle Lake, Minn. A former boyfriend of Mattfeld reportedly found the items that had been stolen from Marilyn's Tanning.
As of Sept. 26, the sheriff's department was continuing its investigation.
The department is also investigating another reported burglary in Erhard, in which one or more individuals forced their way into a residence on 340th Street. Stolen were four guitars and a power drill. Officials said a family member is suspected in the break-in.
