Perham has outscored those six opponents 339-104.

The win over OTC was the second largest margin of victory this year, aside from a 76-6 whitewashing of Wadena-Deer Creek Dec. 4.

After a tie at six points from a James Holen (OTC) pin of Gage Paurus (1:43) followed by Sam Pirrotta tying the match by fall over OTC's Sam Naddy (2:44) at 113 pounds, Perham won 11 of 12 matches, including eight pins and a tech fall to blow the Bulldogs away.

Chase Curtis pinned Stephen Araca at 1:09 of the 120-pound match to put Perham up for good 12-6.

OTC got their last points in the next match (126) when Dylan Schwartz outlasted Jacob Guehna in a 4-2 decision. Guehna was down 4-0 heading into the third period, scored a quick reversal to cut the lead in half but Schwartz held on abating a late Guehna flurry for points.

Josh Werner and Luke Sailer made quick work of their opponents at 132 and 138 pounds. Werner pinned Coy Thorson in 25 seconds. Sailer pinned Aaran Kugler at 1:33 to put Perham up 24-9.

At 145 pounds, Perham's Jacob Monson and Dylan Schleske battled to a 4-2 Monson lead in the third before Monson got the pin at 5:11.

Brady Sazama scored early and often at 152 pounds jumping out to leads of 7-1 and 17-6 over Austin Montgomery en route to a 23-6 advantage when the match was called by technical fall at 4:46.

A reversal in the third period by Montgomery put Sazama on his back and an upset was brewing for a few seconds before he finished off the match with back-to-back near falls.

The Perham lead was 35-9 and growing.

160-pound Patrick Glynn (Perham) and Darius Erlandson had the most entertaining match of the night with Glynn scoring a 5-0 win in overtime.

The two wrestlers grappled to a tie at one point after each wrestler scored on an escape after three periods.

Glynn got a loud "two" groan from the crowd with 14 seconds remaining in the third period but the referee disagreed with the Yellowjacket throng.

William Parks and Gio Garcia got another streak of pins going at 170 and 182- pounds respectively.

Parks pinned Soshiro Tachibana at 1:57 with a 2-1 advantage on the scoreboard.

Garcia stuck Aaron Bengtson at 1:35 to push Perham's lead to 50-9.

Jesse Klatt avoided a late pin attempt at the third period horn by OTC's Gavin Bredefur. Klatt won the 195-pound match 14-7.

Cody Nylander recorded his 87th career victory with a 1:56 pin of Shane Woody at 220 pounds.

Nylander ties Mike Hanson for 36th overall in Perham school history for career victories.

Up 59-9, sophomore heavyweight Jesse Bucholz trotted out to the mat and let fellow sophomore Brandon Danielski have it with the fastest pin of the night at 19 seconds and the 65-9 final.
