Katrina Moenkedick of Perham has been accepted and has registered for fall classes at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. Moenkedick is the daughter of Andy and Katy Moenkedick. She is yet undecided about her major.

The following local students received degrees from North Dakota State University in Fargo in spring 2012: Brittany Kay Schanandore, Ottertail, bachelor of science degree in human development and family science; Amber Rose Altstadt, Perham, doctor of pharmacy; Pamela Osterfeld, Perham, master of arts degree in mass communication; Megan Rose Wilschewski, Perham, bachelor of science degree in management; Brianna G. Ehnert, New York Mills, bachelor of science degree in psychology; Jordan Leo Guck, New York Mills, bachelor of science in civil engineering; and Cory John Vorderbruggen, New York Mills, bachelor of science degree in accounting.

The North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton awarded degrees, diplomas and certificates to 465 graduates this year, including the following local students: Ashley Lundin, Perham, associate of applied science degree in culinary arts; Isaac Rutten, Perham, certificate in precision machining technology; and Connor Carlson, New York Mills, certificate in welding technology.

The Office of the Registrar at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, recently announced its list of spring semester 2012 graduates. The following local students were included: Andrew Gorentz, Dent, bachelor of science degree in agronomy, with distinction; Brett Kupferschmid, Perham, bachelor of science degree in natural resources.
