The following local students were among 789 students to graduate from North Dakota State University in fall 2012: William J. Ryan, Dent, bachelor of science degree in management; Brendan David Frost, New York Mills, bachelor of science in construction engineering degree in construction management; Naomi Marie Koehler, New York Mills, bachelor of arts degree in English education; and Cameron Gordon Wedde, New York Mills, bachelor of science degree in business administration.

Perham High School senior, Kiowa Wieser-Matthews, of Richville, has been admitted to the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The child of Randy Matthews and Sandra Wieser, Kiowa plans to major in genetics or genetic engineering.

Thomas Uselman, of New York Mills, was one of 74 students to graduate from the North Dakota State College of Science at the conclusion of fall semester 2012. He obtained his associate of applied science degree in nanoscience technology
