Swimming: DL defeats Perham 183-127

DETROIT LAKES  — Detroit Lakes defeated the Yellowjackets swimming and diving team 183-127 Tuesday in Mid-State Conference action.

Natalie Murphy continued her dominance in freestyle races winning the 50 and 100 Free. Murphy also anchored Perham’s winning 400 Free Relay with Finnja Becker, Anna Dale, and Kristina Galbrecht.

Heidi Weber won the 100 butterfly with a section qualifying time.

Jackie Hanson was first in the Breaststroke, while Becker was the top finisher in the Backstroke.
