PARK RAPIDS-- Jayden Cullen nabbed the only event title for Perham finishing first in the 500-yard freestyle. His time of 5:16.48 broke a meet record that has stood for eight years and set a new Perham High School record, as well.

"We had some big time drops and the boys are looking great," Perham Head Coach Sheri Ressler said.

Cullen broke Thief River Falls' Chris Pribula's record of 5:19.77, which Pribula set Feb. 1, 1994.
