Swimming: Langendorfer wins conference title, Panthers take meet

DETROIT LAKES -- Zach Langendorfer was Per-ham's lone conference champion winning the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:07.94 during Friday's Mid-State Conference Championships.

Park Rapids won the team title accumulating 456 points to 439 from the host Lakers. Pehram finished in third with 328 points.

Jayden Cullen had two runner-up freestyle finishes.

Cullen finished second in the 500 in a time of 5:22.95 and his time of 1:55.48 was good for a second place finish in the 200.

Langendorfer finish second to DL's Jared Olson in the 200-yard I.M. Olson finished in 2:10.92. Langendorfer's time was 2:14.55.

Paul Swanson had a runner-up finish in the 100-buttefly. His time of 1:02.69 was only beaten by DL's Mike Okeson in 1:02.17.

The Lakers had eight conference champions to three from Park Rapids. The Panthers, however, outscored DL for the title.
