Perham's Taylor Cavanagh took third shooting a two-under 69.
Three of the five were local golfers, as Grand Rapids' Matt Schneider took top honors by firing a four-under par 67.
The 2008 Pine to Palm champion, Ben Freeman of Fargo was second with a three-under 68.
A pair of Detroit Lakes golfers qualified in Ben Bergquist, with a one-under 70, and DL sophomore Karter Smith, who was even-par 71.
The State Amateur will be hosted by the Dakota Ridge Golf Course in Morton, July 19-21.
