Theodore Norman Peterson

Theodore Norman Peterson was born on December 12, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of John and Florence (Plouman) Peterson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Ted attended the Minneapolis Public School System.

Ted and Carol LeCuyer were married on July 6, 1957 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. After their marriage they lived in South Minneapolis, then the Camden area before moving to their home in Brooklyn Park. In 1990 Ted and Carol moved to Emily for two years then moved to Clermont, Florida where they resided for nine years and in 2001 relocated to Ottertail, Minnesota.

He was employed with Valspar Paints for thirty-nine years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed bowling, eating fish and puttering around their property and house, but mainly enjoyed his family and especially his grandchildren.

Ted passed away on Monday evening, June 8, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Henning, Minnesota at the age of 75 years.

Ted is survived by his wife Carol; four children, Steve (Jody) Peterson of Brooklyn Park, Daniel (Renee) Peterson of Buffalo, Robert (Kathy) Peterson of Becker and Lisa Peterson of Brooklyn Center; twelve grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; brother, John Peterson of West Fargo, ND ; sister, Virginia (Bob) Bobelisch of New Brighton; and by numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence Peterson and by one sister, Connie Snipstad.
