Think Pink! Paint for a cause
Becky Sletto, owner of The Clayground in Detroit Lakes and cancer survivor of 10 years, announces "Think Pink! Paint For A Cause," October 14 to 16.
Join us on Thursday, October 14 and Friday, October 15, from noon to 9 p.m. Gather a group of people together and call to reserve a time slot. Painting fee is $25 and includes a "Think Pink!" scarf, in store specials, snacks and unlimited painting time. Ten dollars from each painting fee will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Bisque pieces priced separately.
Saturday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to noon, girls ages 4-7 are invited to a Princess Party. Come dressed as your favorite princess. We will be making crowns, decorating cupcakes and painting castle boxes.
This item is only available to paint during this event. There is a maximum of 15 Princesses for this party. Cost is $30 plus tax per person. Five dollars from each Princess will be donated the American Cancer Society.
Saturday, October 16, from 2-4 p.m., girls ages 8 and up are invited to "Diva's in Training." We will be decorating sunglasses, enjoying special treats, getting nails done and painting a sunglasses box. This item is only available to paint during this event. There is a maximum of 15 diva's. Cost is $35 plus tax per person. Five dollars from each diva will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The Clayground will also be donating $1 from each item painted during the month of October to the American Cancer Society. Ceramic Support Ribbons will also be available all month for $5 plus tax. One dollar from each ribbon will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The Clayground, the area's only Paint-Your-Own-Pottery studio, offers a wide variety of bisque pieces, paints and painting tools to help anyone create a one of a kind piece of pottery. The Clayground is located on the east side of the M State campus in Detroit Lakes.
