Three hurt in Battle Lake crash
Three people suffered minor injuries in a two-car accident at the junction of Highway 210 and Highway 78 in Battle Lake Saturday afternoon.
The accident occurred when a southbound 2004 Buick LeSabre at a stop sign on Highway 78 pulled out in front of an eastbound 2007 Chevy Impala on Highway 210.
The Buick was driven by Glendora I. Thulin, 84, of Montevideo, who suffered minor injuries, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the Chevy was Frank J. Svoboda, 65, of Osceola, Wis. He was treated and released.
A passenger in his car, Karen K. Svoboda, 65, of Osceola, Wis., was also treated and released.
The broadside crash was reported at 3:35 p.m. Saturday on dry two-lane blacktop.
The Battle Lake Police Department and Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
