Thunder blank Perham tennis

Al Shoeneberger got his shot at one-singles versus Long Prairie-Grey Eagle. He was defeated love and four.

The Perham boys tennis team continues to change the lineups looking to find the right combinations for victory.

The Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder was less than accommodating.

The Thunder swept the three double matches relinquishing only six games.

Singles produced a similar fate.

Brian Howey, at four singles, took Laine Larsen to a tiebreaker in the second set. Larsen nipped the tiebreak 7-5, taking the match 6-3, 7-6.

The Yellowjackets remain winless with a record of 0-7.

Perham next travels to Staples next Tuesday, May 10.
