Both Perham and New York Mills track teams competed in the Daggett Invitational in Frazee on Thursday.

Perham's boys finished fifth with 56 points with the Lady Jackets taking seventh with 35 points. The New York Mills boys came in 7th with 37.5 points and the girls were 10th with 19.

The Wadena-Deer Creek girls finished first as a team with 96 points. Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal won the boys team title with 99 points.

In girls competition, Heather Schultz of Perham was 1st in the shot put (40'0.5") with the Eagles Brittnie Menze taking second (36'0"). Perham's Elisa Moenkedick was first in the discus (127'11").

For the boys, New York Mills' Brandon Menze was first in the shout put (44'5.5") with Perham's D.J. Altstadt taking second (43'11"). Menze was also second in the discus (124'2").
