Tractor rollover near Perham injures one
A man who was pinned by a tractor in a rollover accident near Perham on Sept. 8 has suffered what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
A report from the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office states that Michael Tauer, age 47, of Becker, Minn., was trying to remove a deck from Little McDonald Lake when the accident occurred.
Tauer was moving it up a steep hill by use of a loader on the tractor when he apparently lost control while changing gears. This caused the tractor to roll toward the lake, where it tipped on its side and pinned Tauer under the roll bar.
The accident was reported Saturday at about 1 p.m., at the address of 37993 N. Little McDonald Drive.
Tauer was treated and transported to Perham Health. Members of Dent Rescue and Perham Ambulance assisted at the scene.
