Judi is a native of New York Mills and enjoys a successful career as a singer of classical music in California. Judi's lovely soprano voice will be ably accompanied by Russell Bunker of Perham. Judi's husband, Yoav Paskowitz, and Wadena's Jim Uselman, will each sing a solo during the program and they will perform a duo as well.
On Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m., Elisa Korenne, singer-songwriter from New York Mills, will present a preview of her new song cycle "The Tenth Muse", which she has prepared for performance at the Minnesota fringe festival (July 30-August 9). The songs in her new program tell the stories of Americans who lived on the fringe. Many of them are now forgotten, but Elisa brings them back to life with her memorable lyrics and music. Elisa's concert is also free.
A freewill offering will be asked at both concerts to benefit the Center.
