United Way welcomes new board members
Three new board members have joined the United Way of Otter Tail County.
Tracy Bieger is a member of the Perham community and is employed as the Director of Youth and Family Ministry at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham.
Bieger’s passion is helping youth to see their full potential. She and her husband Ross are the parents of two children, Jonah and Elsa. Bieger also volunteers for the Children’s Weekend Feeding Back Pack Program and T.W.I.G.S. Crisis Intervention for Teens.
Shelley Gummeringer is a member of the Pelican Rapids community, where she works as Assistant Vice President at Minnesota National Bank.
“I believe in giving back to the community I grew up in,” commented Gummeringer. “Everyone can make a difference to better another person’s life.”
Gummeringer her husband Keith and daughter Autumn enjoy local outdoor activities. She also serves on the Pelican Rapids Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Dianne Beckman, who is a lifetime resident of Otter Tail County, currently resides in Underwood. She is employed at Farmers State Bank in Underwood and will be retiring at the end of March.
When Beckman retires, she is looking forward to spending more time with her husband Paul and her grandchildren. Her hobbies include Hardanger embroidery, reading and taking time to travel. She also volunteers at the Sverdrup Lutheran Church, Underwood Lutheran Parish and Tamarack Housing.
The board of directors for United Way of Otter Tail County is responsible for setting and establishing policies and procedures for the operation and management of United Way.
