UPDATE: Perham Natural Gas customers can turn their heat back up
Perham Natural Gas has cancelled the conservation notice that was put into effect due to the rupture of a Canadian gas transmission line on Saturday.
Residential and commercial natural gas customers may return to normal usage. Interruptible customers have been asked to phase in production throughout today and into tomorrow.
Perham Natural Gas customers were asked on Sunday to turn their thermostats down to 60 degrees and avoid using natural gas appliances, if possible, after a rupture on a Canadian pipeline that supplies natural gas to the Viking Gas Transmission Company, which serves customers in and around the Otter Tail County area.
