Vandalism reported at PHS
Perham High School was the subject of vandalism last week.
On May 30, at 8:05 a.m., the Perham Police Department received a report of vandalism. An obscenity had been spray-painted near door number four of the building.
The paint has already been removed and did not cause any lasting damage, said Perham Police Chief Jason Hoaby.
According to the police call sheet, the school is now considering additional exterior security cameras.
Perham School District Superintendent Mitch Anderson said there are already exterior cameras on most of the building’s entrances. More cameras, both inside and out, will be added in the near future through health and safety levy funding, he said.
