Vendors sought for ITOW art and craft show

Crafters, artists and businesses selling gift items are sought for a benefit show and sale at the In Their Own Words Veterans Museum in Perham Nov. 9.

Vendors are encouraged to sign up now for a booth for the show in the ITOW gallery. A $30 booth fee will include an 8-foot banquet table and two chairs. No commission is taken; vendors will keep all profits. Space is limited, so those wishing to participate should sign up by the end of October.

That same day, the museum will be having a rummage sale in the adjacent community room, featuring vintage dolls and other collectibles. The White Elephant Thrift Store, also housed in the ITOW building, will be having a storewide sale. It is also “Hunting Widows Weekend,” a popular shopping weekend for many women.

Events will begin with a flag raising at 9:45 a.m. Sales will continue through 3 p.m.

To sign up for a booth, contact Darla Ellingson, executive director, at darlaellingson@ All proceeds from Saturday’s sales will benefit museum operations.
