Victim shot in head with pellet gun during Fargo robbery
Police arrested a Lisbon, N.D., man in connection with a robbery in Fargo Saturday night in which the victim was shot in the head with a pellet gun.
The robbery was reported at 10:58 p.m. in the 3200 block of 12th Avenue North.
According to Sgt. Carlos Nestler:
The victim told police that three males took an undisclosed amount of cash from him, and that one of the suspects shot him in the head during the robbery. The victim had a noticeable head wound but refused medical attention.
One of the alleged suspects, later identified as Jordan John Bailey, 20, of Lisbon, left the scene in a Chevrolet Impala and the victim drove after him and got his license plate number.
A few hours after the robbery, Ransom County sheriff's deputies and a state trooper stopped the Impala and arrested Bailey on an unrelated warrant out of Montana. Fargo police arrested him on suspicion of robbery and took him to the Cass County Jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
