PELICAN RAPIDS - The No. 5 Yellowjackets exacted revenge on their most heated of rivals, the No. 4 Pelican Rapids Vikings, in an exciting five-set opening round Section 8AA-South playoff victory Thursday night.

Perham defeated Pelican Rapids 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 25-13, 22-25, 15-10).

"I like this ending far better than the first time we played Pelican this year," Perham Head Coach Dan Christenson said. "I was proud of how our kids played with guts when it counted."
