Weather dampens numbers, not spirit, of Kinship Flotilla

Rainy weather last Saturday took a toll on the Perham Kinship program’s second annual flotilla fundraiser, but roughly 150 die-hard flotation fans still joined in the effort to “float to a Guinness World Record.” 

Jill Shipman, head of the local  Kinship, said Monday that she was still far from giving up on the record, and stated, “Third time’s the charm. Next year we are going to really go after it!”
