Wind chill warning, advisory in effect through Friday morning

FARGO - Dangerous wind chills of up to 50 degrees below zero will keep the region in the deep freeze through Friday morning, the National Weather Service said.

Blowing snow reduced visibility for motorists in some areas this morning. The Minnesota State Patrol closed U.S. Highway 2 between East Grand Forks and Crookston shortly after 7 a.m. because of poor visibility, patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow said.
