Wolverines thump beleaguered Eagles

Email

A late-night doubleheader sweep at Pillager Tuesday combined with a senior trip Wednesday had the NY Mills baseball team on the field again Thursday short of arms and intensity in a 12-0 loss to Wadena-Deer Creek.

"We've got no energy today," Head Coach Chris Bushinger said.

Many team members had arrived home well after 10 p.m. on consecutive nights.

The Wolverines, on the other hand, appeared well rested.
