Yellowjacket Pontiac on display
Tickets for a chance on this 2008 Pontiac G5 are officially on sale, through Perham's Promise and the 549 Family Foundation. All proceeds will go toward supporting the Perham-Dent schools through the Foundation and also the "More Than Nothing" campaign, which is a drive to raise funds after the failure of the increased tax levy referendum in 2008.
The first day for displaying the car was Monday, March 16, at Dean's Country Market--where the shiny vehicle will remain until March 27. The Pontiac, which has only 21,000 miles, will be displayed at many events throughout the spring and summer, according to Jo Strege, director of the 549 Foundation.

The drawing for the car will be on Sept. 25, during half-time of the Perham High School Homecoming football game. Second place prize is a "Spa Day" at Sorella's; and third is a half-beef from the Perham Co-op.
