Perham: At New Creation Lutheran Church from 5-6:30 p.m. Free meals served. Free will donations accepted.

Children of Eden

Perham: At the Perham High School Auditorium. Perham's 2017 community musical. Performances start at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday. See the musical's Facebook page for more information. Tickets available online at perhamcommunityeducation.com.

Sunday, November 19

Turkey Bingo

Perham: At 3 p.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Annual fundraiser by the local Knights of Columbus. Chance to win 21 birds, plus a raffle. Dinner to follow.

Friday, November 24

Holiday Parade of Lights

Perham: At dusk, downtown. A beloved annual event. Community businesses, groups and organizations parade down Main Street on lighted floats and wearing lighted costumes. Street and business lights downtown are shut off for maximum effect. Prizes awarded for best floats.

Saturday, November 25

Free Christmas Matinees

Perham: At 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Comet Theatre. Lego Batman will be shown on the big screen. Children are asked but not required to bring a nonperishable item for the local food shelf. Free matinees continue at the theatre every Saturday in December.

Thursday, November 30

Women's Bible Study

Perham: At Crosspoint Alliance Church, 600 NE 8th Street, from 1:30-3 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. All women are invited to this new Bible Study. "Armor of God," by Priscilla Shirer, will be the focus. For more information, visit www.lifeway.com.

Otter Dazzle

Ottertail: Parade of Lights, fireworks and chili feed in downtown Ottertail and the Ottertail Community Center, starting at dusk. For more information contact Kathy at 218-367-3092.

Old Fashioned Christmas Bake Shoppe

Perham: At Calvary Lutheran Church, 619 3rd Avenue SW, from 9-11 a.m. Homemade cookies, breads and other baked goods, candy, crafts, Lefse, a kids corner and much more. Proceeds go to local, regional and global ministries and needs.

Tuesday, December 5

Holiday Open House

Perham: At the History Museum of East Otter Tail County from 4-7 p.m. Door prizes, music, food and fun.

Wednesday, December 6

Angel of Hope Candlelight Vigil
