'Come to the Lakes': Battle Lake community center winds down first summer season

"Elvis" will perform the final concert of Battle Lake's first season with its new community center.

Lakes Area Community Center will not let summer slip by without a final splash, dash and some rocking and rolling as they host a return of Todd Anderson with his "Tribute to Elvis."

You don't have to go further than the Royal Auditorium of the Battle Lake School for this top notch entertainment this Saturday, September 5, at 8 p.m. Tickets for reserved seating are on sale at LACC.

Advance tickets are $12; $15 at the door; preteen $5. Bring your family, friends, and your "last of the summer company" to celebrate Labor Day Weekend with music that brings back memories or makes them. Todd has the voice and the showmanship to please the true Elvis fan and the talent to make new ones.

Todd Anderson is an acclaimed Elvis tribute artist, and a Minnesota native currently living in the metro area. Ten years ago he established the Elvis Tribute Artist contest at the Mall of America and has been hosting it ever since. He has performed on the Elvis Tribute Cruise since 2006.

Saturday is a high flying day in Battle Lake. The Annual Community Fun Fly-In will begin at 11 a.m. LACC will be present at the fly-in, just look for the big balloon.

Tethered hot air balloon rides will be available for $5.
