Author reading at Perham library
The Perham Area Public Library will be hosting author Frederick Blanch on Saturday, June 8 at 1 p.m.
Blanch will be reading from his book, “Last Words: Frederick’s Binary.”
“Last Words” is an account of the author’s travels, trials and travails. A child in a tiny Minnesotan farming community during the Great Depression, Blanch’s working life has included stints as a printer, actor, beekeeper, television producer and photographer.
Blanch has been characterized as Minnesota’s “Mark Twain of non-fiction” and “Last Words” has been nominated for a Minnesota Book Award. His presentation promises to be charming and entertaining.
This program is offered free of charge and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
