'First Daughter and the Black Snake' screened at cultural center Jan. 28
Honor the Earth, partnering with the New York Mills Arts Retreat and Regional Cultural Center, will host a screening of "First Daughter and the Black Snake" on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. at the cultural center.
The documentary nationally follows Winona LaDuke in the fight against Enbridge, seeking to put in the Sandpiper, a 640,000 barrel a day fracked oil pipeline across a new corridor in Northern Minnesota.
The Sandpiper project was defeated after a four year battle and this film chronicles that story.
