RMH Ride kickoff party January 15

Hamburglar and Grimace are with the crew of Apols Harley-Davidson in Alexandria, Minn., to pick up the 2011 Road King Classic for the 10th Annual Ronald McDonald House Ride coming up this June.

The 10th Ronald McDonald House Ride kickoff party in New York Mills will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15.

"I can't believe it's been 10 years," Organizer Greg Karvonen said.

Raffle tickets are limited to 2,500. This year's grand prize being the 2011 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic; two $500 prizes will be awarded; along with 10 $100 prizes.

All proceeds from the ride go to the Ronald McDonald house.

The 10th annual event will be held at the V.F.W. in New York Mills and begins at noon with Bingo starting at 1 p.m.

The two-tone root beer Road King Classic will be on display and live entertainment provided by Cutloose from 8:30-12:30 p.m.

The Ronald McDonald House Ride in New York Mills is the world's largest motorcycle ride to benefit the Ronald McDonald House and consistently draws 1,000 motorcycles, raises over $100,000.00, and collects 1,000 gallons of pop tabs. It takes 5,000 individual pop tabs to fill a gallon milk jug.
