Alison Francis is the new volunteer events coordinator for United Way in Perham. She started on June 13.  Francis will be planning events, finding different ways to support the community and come up with ideas on how United Way may accomplish those goals with her co-workers.

John Haverland, Hammer’s Construction Safety Director, oversees the placement of steel and bar joists at the Heart of the lakes Elementary School earlier this week. To date, the floor slap and all underground plumbing is complete on the east side of the building where the preschool will be located. On the west end, exterior masonary is nearing completion and underground plumbing will begin next week.
