Angel of Hope memory block orders accepted through May 5
The Perham Area Angel of Hope Memorial Park, located at the corner of 3rd Avenue & 6th Avenue NE, was dedicated on Sept. 24, 2004, to allow families a special place to grieve, hope and heal; and give them a place to remember and celebrate the lives of their children. The names on the Memory Walls are the names of children of all ages.
Each spring and fall, new memory blocks are added to the walls at the Park.
It is time for anyone wishing to have the name of their child added to the wall to send in the request. Ordering deadline is May 5.
Brochures, with an order form for a memory block, are available at the Chamber of Commerce, or from anyone on the committee. Cost for a memory block is $200 and includes up to three lines of information.
The Angel of Hope Memorial Park committee is always happy to receive help from anyone who loves gardening, and has the skills necessary to keep the flower gardens at the park looking great. The committee also welcomes volunteers to help with cleanup of the beds in the fall, and with the annual Candlelight Vigil held every Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
