Kosiak speaks at Perham Vet's Day program

Perham High School vocal music director Kevin Kosiak, an Army National Guardsman who returned late this summer from a full year tour of duty in Iraq, will be guest speaker for the annual Veterans Day program.

The program will be hosted at the Perham High School auditorim November 11, from about 2:35 until 3:20, and the public is invited to attend.

Participating in the program will be members of the Rasmussen-Schdowski VFW Post 4020 and Auxiliary; and members of the Burelbach American Legion Post 61 and Auxiliary.

Student Council president, Lucas Wuebben will introduce and welcome the audience, and he will also conclude the program. Other student speakers will be from the MSCTC public speaking classes.

Speakers will include Isaac Werner, Blake Minge, Cody Soderstrom, Ben Brill and Kayla Johnson.

A slide show and music will be introduced by Andrew Muer.

The Swing Choir will be introduced by Whitney Delaney.

A flag folding ceremony will be conducted by Nikki Werner and Chelsea Baumgart.

Taps will be performed on trumpet by Jason Huus.

The PHS orchestra will play as the audience departs.
