Perham's Helen Marie Burns pens children's book

PublishAmerica is proud to present Ryleigh's Little Bug Book by Perham author Helen Marie Burns.

The book was illustrated by Gladys Vareberg. The front cover was done by Heidi Pridemores Doodlebugs.

Ryleigh's Little Bug Book came from a request from the author's sister, Betty, for Ryleigh, her great granddaughter, so she would enjoy the wonderful world of bugs.

It's a simple, playful story with a message. It gives a delightful view of bugs we encounter every day and why we need each other.

Helen Marie Burns was born in Detroit Lakes, and raised on a small organic farm. She went to Dist. 69, a one-room school.

She had a marvelous childhood. Her favorite memories include running through cornfields barefoot, playing with corndolls, and following behind Dad's plow. Helen's obsession is organic rock gardening.

Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
